SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER
Location: Bracknell Office (Berkshire & Hampshire)
Salary: £37,000 - £45,000
Job type Permanent Full-Time
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Regional Build Director, the Service Delivery Manager’s role is to manage a team of allocated Deployment Managers to coordinate the successful completion of the project deliverables, liaising with internal and external build partners, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, to budget, manage supply chain partner via NEC 3 contract & CEMAR in line with the requirements set out to meet the business requirements.
THE DAY JOB
- Accountable for delivering the build of Trooli Network across the allocated towns in a region
- Manage the end-to-end build programmes, including developing, owning the overall plans, communication and management of the plan
- Regular reporting and forecasting on the above plan, including different works activity’s stages as the works progress.
- Contribute to the design process on quality, cost and efficiently.
- Manage allocated Deployment Managers, to ensure the Trooli build programs are set and delivered
- Be accountable for Health and Safety and report any incidents to the Regional Build Director.
- Assessing the AFP payments and amounts claimed are correct.
- Managing all compensation events and any change control requirements.
- Strong leadership and managing the functions who report into the role a to ensure the works are completed on time and to budget.
- Manage risk proactively, including Risk Reduction meetings
- Regular communication with the Design Managers to ensure any changes are reflected on APX and these changes are clearly shared with your build team.
- Management of NOIs, closure of NOIs after completed and evidenced work.
- Manage the supply chain partners via a NEC 3 contract & CEMAR
WE'D LIKE TO SPEAK WITH YOU IF...
- Previous experience in telecoms projects deploying THP.
- Experience in street works working environment and knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
- Understanding of the requirements of CDM regulations
- In depth knowledge of the Openreach network and PIA system and standards
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. GIS
- Understanding of a NEC 3 contract & CEMAR
- Experience of Managing a team and building a team to achieving success
- Experience in creating and managing programs of works
- Experience in managing budgets and delivering to budget
WE'D LOVE YOU IF...
- Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991
- Experience of OR PIA network
- An understanding of a THP network rollout
- Ability to develop Build programs and produce updates of works progress
- Experience of OR PIA network
- Evidence of continuous improvement and driving new ways of working
- Experience in Cost control, management of budgets and Risk management
- Full Driving License that permits you to drive vehicle in the UK
- Experience in NEC 3 contract & CEMAR
